We are blessed by being located in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland with spectacular hills, lochs, rivers, woodland and fields. We have an abundance of wildlife including the red squirrel, the soaring golden eagle and majestic red deer. Best of all, we have wide open spaces where you can walk, climb or cycle, and enjoy the magnificent scenery and all Highland Perthshire has to offer.
The historic conservation village of Fortingall can be bathed in sunlight even on the shortest day of the year. Designed by Arts and Crafts architect James M MacLaren, the village features thatched roofs and crow-stepped gables. The hotel and church at the east end of the village echo this design and the refurbishment of the hotel in 2005 ensured that the décor continues to reflect its Victorian heritage.
