• Preparing guest rooms and public areas to a high standard

• Working closely with the Lead Housekeeper and FOH team

• Ensuring rooms are guest‑ready throughout the day

• Supporting laundry and stock management

Front of House

 

Our Front of House team delivers the warm, personal service that defines The Fortingall. We are seeking confident, friendly individuals who enjoy guest interaction and thrive in a service‑driven environment.

• Greeting guests and providing a warm Highland welcome

• Restaurant service across breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner

• Supporting bar service and wine service

• Managing reservations, guest enquiries, and daily service flow

• Working closely with the kitchen and housekeeping teams

Ghillie / Outdoor Guest Experience Guide

 

This is a unique position ideal for someone with local knowledge, outdoor experience, and a passion for Scottish heritage.

Role highlights:

• Guiding fishing, shooting & stalking experiences

• Guiding guests on Land Rover tours, walks, local trails, and scenic routes

• Supporting outdoor activities and guest experiences

• Sharing knowledge of local wildlife, landscape, and history

• Assisting with guest transport and outdoor logistics

• Acting as an ambassador for The Fortingall’s connection to Glen Lyon

This role suits someone who loves the outdoors and enjoys engaging with guests in a relaxed, informative way.

Kitchen Team

 

Our kitchen is focused on quality, seasonality, and showcasing the best of Scottish produce. We are recruiting for motivated individuals who want to develop their skills in a supportive, professional environment.

• Assisting with food preparation and service

• Working with fresh, local ingredients

• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation

• Supporting the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
