Exceptional Food & Drink is at the heart of The Fortingall
Our menus showcase the very best, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Including Venison and Lamb from our own estate.

"The dining room is not only by another original fireplace but romantic sensibility with its huge portraits and landscapes. Overt grandeur is cleverly tempered by the presence of stylish and convivial bar – named Charlie's Bar after the Bonnie Prince. Venison and lamb from the surrounding estate, and locally-sourced produce anchor a seasonally-updated menu that feels deeply rooted in the land rather than performatively ‘Scottish’. (On this note, tartan is used quite sparingly in the decor). Among the sweets, the rich sticky toffee pudding is worth a mention here, as close as it is to the Platonic ideal of the dessert."
"After dinner one can pop to the Ewe, its intimate atmosphere, vintage rugs and colour palette drawn from nature underscoring its position as a space between the cocooning warmth of the hotel and the wild landscape beyond it. Lively with music and singing some nights, the Ewe is a space that seems to embody and continue the thread of connection between the hotel and the local community."
