Whether you are a beginner or experienced, fishing on our beautiful, dramatic and entirely private estate is an experience you will never forget. 

 

Culdaremore includes over 2 miles of fishing, with 11 varied pools of the River Lyon, one of the major Tay tributaries, and on any given day you won’t see any other fishermen on your pools.  

 

If you book the guided option, The Fortingall’s ghillie (guide) will take you in our Land Rover deep into the landscape, to the best fishing spots, and provide you with all the fishing equipment you might need, if you do not have it, at no extra charge.  Waders are and advantage but not a requirement, and if you are staying at The Fortingall, boots and a waxed jacket can be borrowed there.

 

Please note that access isn't easy if you aren't steady on your feet, especially for the pools fished on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, which include ladders in two places.
